NEW YORK, NY – Riverside Research, a not-for-profit scientific research company primarily serving the US Department of Defense (DOD) and the Intelligence Community (IC), is proud to announce its participation in the DOD Military Spouse Employment Partnership (MSEP). MSEP is an employment and career partnership connecting military spouses with more than 340 partner employers who have committed to recruit, hire, promote, and retain military spouses in portable careers.
Riverside Research will officially join the MSEP on October 17 at the annual Induction Ceremony held at the US Chamber of Commerce Building in Washington, DC.
“Riverside Research is honored to be inducted into the Military Spouse Employment Partnership,” said Dr. Steven Omick, President and CEO of Riverside Research. “As a technology company serving the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community, it’s very important for us to support military families in any way we can.”
Dr. Jill Biden, wife of Vice President Joe Biden, launched MSEP on June 29, 2011, as part of the White House’s Joining Forces Initiative. The partnership is part of the DOD broader Spouse Education and Career Opportunities program, which seeks to reduce the significant unemployment rate and wage gap currently experienced by military spouses when compared to their civilian counterparts.
By joining MSEP, Riverside Research is becoming part of an even larger collective effort to support military spouse employment.
