Director, Radar Assessment & Development
Jerry Do Vale is the Director of the Radar Assessment & Development team located near Boston, MA. Jerry has accumulated over 15 years of experience in the defense industry with a focus on radar systems engineering and data analysis, including system integration, independent test and evaluation of radar systems and algorithms, and simulation drivers.
Since joining Riverside Research in 2010, Jerry has provided engineering expertise and technical oversight to the US Navy for the COBRA JUDY Replacement (CJR) Acquisition Program. He led the successful verification, validation, and accreditation (VV&A) effort of the CJR Radar Software Simulation, which encompassed tool development, analysis, planning, scheduling, execution, and accreditation panel reviews. A recognized CJR subject matter expert with extensive MATLAB analytical tool development expertise, Jerry has deployed to a number of worldwide radar sites to investigate operational, integration, and test issues in the field. He has also supported several other radar programs, including the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) radar, Japan Aerospace Defense Ground Environment (JADGE), and the Upgraded Early Warning Radar (UEWR), and has extensive experience with Laser Radar systems, hardware-in-the-loop simulators (HWIL) integration and test, and data analysis through previous positions with FishEye Software and Textron Systems.
Jerry holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering Technology from Northeastern University, Boston.
