Associate Research Director, Intelligence & Defense Solutions Directorate
Dominic Baca is an Associate Research Director within the Intelligence & Defense Solutions Directorate of Riverside Research. An accomplished veteran of the US Air Force, Dominic has more than 17 years of direct operational experience in Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) and Measurement and Signature Intelligence (MASINT) collection operations, functional management, strategic planning, and enterprise integration.
Dominic is a recognized expert in the management and integration of technical intelligence capabilities into frontline operations. He was instrumental in orchestrating the transition of imagery-derived MASINT into Advanced Geospatial Intelligence (AGI) in 2004. Dominic has developed agency-level strategies for the integration of AGI into the GEOINT enterprise for both the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) and Office of the Director of National Intelligence. His expertise is routinely sought after by NGA and military service staffs on matters concerning functional management, policy implementation, and budget development.
A native of California, Dominic earned a BS in Chemistry from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles in 1994. He proudly served our country for more than 16 years as an officer in the US Air Force, ending his career at the rank of Major.
